No, not the 90s TV show.

Saved by the Bell is the title of Nyoongar, Wongi hip-hop artist Inkabee's second-ever single and first solo track.

The 11-year-old singer has delivered the new track, which features an infectious beat and catchy melody.

Recorded through youth music program, Kwinana Beats Studios, the track captures the school yard's energy through it's hip-hop base and vibrant tunes.

Produced by local hip-hop artists Optamus and Paulie P, Inkabee said this was "a feel good hype track".

"It was fun to rap about and sing about pursuing my dreams and the importance of education," he said.

"I'm doing this for me and I'm doing this 4 everyone else."

After writing his first rap at age seven, Inkabee, real name Ethan Eggington, broke into the Australian music scene in December 2022 with his debut track Beat the Odds.

The track was co-written and recorded alongside his father, award-winning Nyoongar, Wongi rapper and activist Flewnt and has since been nominated for a West Australian Music award.

Since Beat the Odds, Inkabee and Flewnt have performed at major arts, cultural and sporting events across Boorloo (Perth) including at Flewnt's Boorloo Block Party earlier in 2023.

The pair will join forces once again to perform at Vivid Sydney where audiences are sure to captivated by the 11-year-old's infectious stage presence and high energy.

Inkabee joins Flewnt, Kobie Dee and JK-47 at Vivid Sydney at Carriageworks on June 9.
