Talented forward Anthony Munkara has not been offered a playing contract by Essendon for next season.
The Bombers confirmed the list change via a statement released on social media on Thursday.
Munkara spent just the one season on Essendon's list after being recruited at the end of 2022.
The club's General Manager of Performance Daniel McPherson thanked the teenager for his time at the Hangar.
"Anthony has learnt a lot during his time at Essendon and has shown good talent and capability at stages this year," McPherson said in the statement.
"We wish him the best with his future and his return to the Tiwi Islands."

The news comes after AFL reporter Callum Twomey revealed last month on the program Gettable that Munkara's future at the Bombers was in doubt.
As a junior, Munkara impressed with his talent and performances for NTFL club Tiwi Bombers and in the SANFL U18s for West Adelaide.
Munkara was originally a part of the Bombers' Next Generation Academy and was selected in last year's AFL Rookie Draft as a Category B rookie.
Generally playing deep in the forward-line, he played 15 games at VFL level and kicked 12 goals for the season.
Munkara averaged 6.6 disposals, 2.5 tackles per game and on four occasions he kicked multiple goals.
The 18-year-old's departure comes just a month after fellow Tiwi Island product Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti announced his retirement from AFL level.
Andrew Phillips, Alastair Lord, Rhett Montgomerie and Cian McBride were also delisted by the club.
It is unsure whether Munkara will join McDonald-Tipungwuti in returning to the Tiwi Bombers this upcoming NTFL season.
