Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two individuals reported missing in separate incidents.

31-year-old Christopher Jacks was last seen leaving a residence on Josephine Crescent in the Townsville suburb of Rasmussen around 2am on Wednesday, December 4.

Mr Jacks is described as of First Nations appearance, 175cm tall, with a proportionate build and brown hair.

Having not been seen or heard from since Wednesday, both Mr Jacks' family and police are concerned as his disappearance is out of character.

In a separate case, a 14-year-old girl was last seen on Tuesday, December 3, at an address on Peggy Street, Redbank Plains.

The girl is known to frequent the Orion Shopping Centre in Springfield and the Hillcrest areas.

She is described as of Pacific Islander appearance, is approximately 160cm tall with a proportionate build, black hair, and brown eyes.
