South Australia's infamous Nature Festival is back for another year, with this year's festival striving to profile Indigenous culture and community,
Taking place from 1 to 15 October, Indigenous community members Bruce Pascoe, Nornie Bero and Damien Coulthard will feature in the 2023 program.
Winning author of Dark Emu, Bruce Pascoe and South Australian-based Warndu founder, Damien Coulthard (First Nations Food Companion), did feature in last year's program, this year they are joined by Torres Strait Islander chef and author Nornie Bero (Mabu Mabu) with ABC's celebrated garden guru, Costa Georgiadis playing host.
Taking place on 8 October in partnership with Southern Cultural Immersion at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre in Warriparinga Way, this in-conversation panel will provide speakers with a platform to discuss their personal journeys, culture and connection to food and the land in which it comes from.
With last year's panel featuring Pascoe and Coulthard drawing a crowd of almost 200 people at Warriparinga, attendees of the 2023 event can expect similar themes, with an even broader perspective brought by Chef Nornie Bero.
Originally from Mer Island in the Torres Strait, Bero is the owner and head Chef at Melbourne-based restaurant Mabu Mabu, and now the author to her published book with the same name.

Bero, Coulthard and Pascoe are striving to bring a modern perspective on First Nations food, education and culture.
"With all the negativity surrounding the referendum, now more than ever is the perfect time to listen, learn and share our rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and food," Warndu founder Damien Coulthard said.
Southern Cultural Immersion owner and proud Kaurna man, Corey Turner is also looking forward to welcoming the respected Indigenous creatives to Warriparinga.
"It is really exciting to have mob achieving great things in the native food space," Mr Turner said.
"Despite the knowledge of our native foods coming from First Nations people, we make up a small percentage of the industry.
"I love seeing blackfullas as active participants in this space, where we should be a majority not a minority."
In conversation with Bruce Pascoe, Damien Coulthard and Nornie Bero will be held on 8 October from 2pm at Living Kaurna Cultural Centre in Warriparinga Way, Bedford Park. Tickets can be purchased online via www.naturefestival.org.au
Nature Festival is proudly sponsored by Green Adelaide, The City of Adelaide, Adelaide Economic Agency, Government of South Australia (Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing) and Hinterland.
