After years of dedication to her craft, Waanyi woman Cassandra Pons has solidified her place in Australian fashion with her inimitable style and product delivery with Lazy Girl Lingerie.
Lazy Girl Lingerie provides lingerie that inspires effortless confidence through their custom-order business model.
The goal of the brand is to transform women's self-perception by honoring and celebrating their distinctiveness.
Ms Pons firmly believes that every body is beautiful, irrespective of size, shape, color, or age.

Lazy Girl Lingerie was conceived by Ms Pons while completing her degree in fashion design.
"It happened while I was studying fashion design in college," she said.
"I really wanted to have a fashion label but I knew it had to be different, and that lightbulb came to me while I was studying."
"I made my first lingerie set for myself which was personalised to my measurements and it made me feel incredible."
Ms Pons' brand offers clients the unique chance to have their lingerie completely custom made to fit their specific body measurements.
"I think the main thing that stands out for my brand is the bespoke business model"
"I personalise a design to the persons unique measurements rather than just buying a standard size small, or large."
"I make lingerie that's as unique as the woman who wears it."

Ms Pons has been accepted to feature in Australian Fashion Week this May.
"I am still in my pinch me moment for it," she said.
"I applied for Pathways Program with the indigenous fashion project on a whim and actually got accepted."
"I anticipate being part of the Pathways Program will help my business journey by facilitating connections with the broader fashion community and allowing mentoring with industry professionals.
"I feel it will provide an opportunity to showcase my work to a broader audience than what would be possible on my own, and allow the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by the other designers and incredible people involved in this project."

After concluding with AFW, Ms Pons will be speaking on a panel at Bloom Incorporated - a two-day event designed to inspire, support and connect entrepreneurial businesswomen from 19 May - 20 May.
"I'm really excited for that," she said.
"I'll get to share some of my story and the journey with fashion week."
Ms Pons will then be looking forward to releasing a new collection titled 'Homecoming' along with working on an immersive art installation based on the collection using creative film and photography.
Offering advice to young mob out there, Ms Pons says it's "important to be yourself and to be unique, because a distinctive style can be what sets you apart in this industry."
"Showcasing my collection at fashion week is important because it means representation for Frist Nations designers and showing what's possible."
"I really hope that by me being there I can inspire other designers to follow their dreams."
"I would encourage young mob to learn from others and to seek out mentors in the fashion industry, weather its volunteering time or applying for programs. Just get your foot in the door."
