Adelaide comedian Biddy O'Loughlin has been heavily criticised after posting a "racist" stand-up video on her Instagram mocking Aboriginal people.
Describing alcoholism as part of Indigenous culture, O'Loughlin also made fun of traditional place names and intimates a racist stereotype of how Aboriginal people speak, in what she described as an attack on 'woke'.
With more than 130,000 views on Instagram, the video was heavily criticised by Indigenous musician and reality TV star Isaac Compton, who labelled her video nothing more than "recycling" racist stereotypes.

"Here we go again. Another 'comedian' thinking they're being edgy. But instead they're just recycling the racist narrative that Aboriginal people are alcoholics," Compton said.
"Her jokes aren't new, same s**t we've heard before. Just a new f**kwit saying them."
Her then added: "F**k you're cool Biddy."
O'Loughlin defended her comments in a back and forth on social media as a joke about 'wokeness', before attacking Compton as a "brown man (pushing) for a pile on over a cancelled comedian because he doesn't have a sense of humour".
"He can't take a joke about wokeness but laughs at threats to a single mother and her daughter," she said, accompanied by a screenshot of a text exchange between her and Compton.
"Firstly, I'm not laughing at threats to anyone. I'm laughing at the irony," Compton said in response on Instagram.
"And how quickly you flipped the script when Blak women came for you. Like I said before. You invited this reaction to your front door. Grow up."
Compton then added: "Secondly you didn't make a 'joke' about wokeness. You were outright racist."
In a now deleted video shared by Compton, O'Loughlin said her daughter was Indigenous and people were attacking her (and her daughter) due to Compton's comments.
He said his criticism of O'Loughlin had nothing to do with 'woke,' but about holding people to account for their racism and actions. Her video said she had very few friends duo to "wokeism," and was a single mother receiving a pile on due to her comedy.
"Just because you have a Blak daughter doesn't excuse you from being a racist," Compton said in response.
"...you can still be a racist [with an Indigenous child].
"Don't blame your actions on other people."

O'Loughlin, who has been vocal in her criticism of trans gender rights and identity - including sporting a red hat with the words "Make Women Female Again" - a play on Donald Trump's famous slogan - has had performances cancelled due to her views.
Comments on a post of hers mocking people calling Alice Springs by the Eastern Arrernte term Mparntwe - which she described as 'woke' in one of her sets - was also criticised.
Gija woman and 2024 NAIDOC Creative Talent Award winner, Naarah, wrote on O'Loughlin's post, "Another comedian relying on racism… this is just embarrassing," whilst Compton himself commented: "*Me reading the comments* Well if it isn't the consequences of your own actions."
Popular Sydney pub The Lord Gladstone, took to social media to encourage venues to blacklist her, labelling O'Loughlin a "racist POS".
"If you're a venue in Sydney and this racist, dumb dawg ever tries to book a show at your venue just bookmark this name for future reference so you can tell her to unequivocally go fk herself and that her lowest common denominator, absolute rubbish excuse for comedy is reserved solely for racist Reddit threads and not in any of our beautiful venues in Sydney," the post read.=
