Cronulla's halves pairing appears set for the coming seasons with Braydon Trindall putting pen-to-paper on a three-year extension tying him to the club through to the end of 2028.
The 25-year-old was already contracted for the 2025, with his new deal worth an average of $675,000 for each of the coming four seasons, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Trindall's commitment will come as welcome for the Sharks with a list of players set to come off contract at the end of the 2025 season - including fellow playmaker Daniel Atkinson.
Nicho Hynes inked a five-year extension at the beginning of the 2023 season to cement the Sharks' no.7 spot until the end of 2027.
Fullback Will Kennedy's contact is among those set to expire at the end of next season.
Through the most recent campaign, Trindall's position wobbled following failed roadside tests which saw him miss a stretch of games, before returning to star in the Sharks' push toward finals after regaining his position in the halves.
He was fancied to be a prize name on the market for potential suitors at the end of next year, but signalled his commitment to the Shire, saying "I didn't want to go anywhere else" in a club announcement on Friday.
"The club has put a lot of trust in me over the years, so I'm just looking forward to repaying them and repaying the fans," Trindall said.
"I just love this place; I love the club, I love the people here, I just love the whole organisation.
"I came here when I was 18, did a lot of growing and still have a lot of growing to do. I'm just looking forward to it and I couldn't see myself anywhere else."
Trindall has made 71 first grade appearances for the Sharks since debuting in 2020.
He put together a career-best 20-game year in 2024.
