We're looking for someone who loves working with people, knows retail and is ready to take the lead in keeping our store and retail team running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role. You'll work alongside the team on the shop floor, support and guide our people, connect with customers and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our retail spaces.
The role will primarily be based at our Flagship Store at Shop 18, 459A Sydney Road, Brunswick on Wurundjeri Country.

About the Role
Store Manager | Part-Time
As our Store Manager, you'll lead our retail team and look after the day-to-day running of our Brunswick Store.
You'll work closely with our Deputy CEO and the wider Clothing The Gaps team to make sure our retail spaces run smoothly, our customers have a great experience and our team has the support they need.
Some of the things you'll be responsible for include:
- Leading, supporting and training our retail team
- Preparing staff rosters and managing changes when someone is away or plans change
- Making sure we have the right staff coverage across our retail spaces
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive space for our customers and team
- Keeping the store running smoothly and making sure daily goals are met
- Connecting with customers and sharing the purpose, stories and values behind Clothing The Gaps and our products
- Looking after stock, merchandising and point-of-sale processes
- Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and training of new retail team members
- Managing timesheets and other day-to-day team administration
- Working closely with our Warehouse, Customer Service and Brand and Marketing teams
- Helping keep our retail spaces safe, organised and welcoming
- Coordinating markets, pop-ups and other retail opportunities from time to time
About You
We're looking for someone who knows retail, is great with people and is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our store.
You might already be a Store Manager, or you might be an experienced retail team member or supervisor who's ready to take the next step. What matters most is that you have strong retail experience, enjoy leading and supporting people, and feel confident keeping a busy retail space organised and running smoothly.
You'll bring:
- Experience working in a customer-focused retail environment
- A good understanding of how a retail store operates day to day
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confidence organising priorities, solving problems and getting things done
- The ability to work independently and make day-to-day decisions
- A full Australian driver's licence

The Hours
This is a part-time role with a regular five-day working week:
Tuesday to Friday: 9.30 am to 5.15 pm
Saturday: 9.30 am to 4.15 pm
Sunday and Monday will be your regular days off, giving you a consistent working pattern each week.
