Saints man of the moment Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Melbourne favourite Kysaiah Pickett have earned maiden All Australian blazers for standout seasons.

Wanganeen-Milera slotted into the half back flank in the side, while Pickett got the nod in the forward pocket, amongst a stacked line up.

Crows star Izak Rankine and Gold Coast's Ben Long, who put together the strongest season of his nine-year career to help his side to their first finals campaign, were looked past after being named in the extended 44-man squad.

Fresh off recommitting to St Kilda for the next two years, Wanganeen-Milera, 22, built on early career promise for breakout year in 2025.

He averaged a fraction under 30 touches across the year - the fourth best in the competition for the home and away season, to go with 17 goals whilst also playing more minutes through the Saints' midfield.

The 22under22 vice captain, named last week, Wanganeen-Milera missed out on the AFLPA's MVP award to fellow young gun Nick Daicos at the AFL Awards.

One of the hottest talking points of the year was put to bed last week when he inked an extension to remain at the Saints for another two seasons - reportedly as the game's first $2 million-a-year player.

"Didn't, didn't feel right if I would have left. I'm grateful I stayed. I won't regret at all," he said on Thursday night.

"I'm just grateful to be in this position at the Saints and can't wait for the next two years".

Signing his own mammoth extension at the Dees earlier in the year, another starring season from Pickett was rewarded.

Pickett averaged two goals a game while also splitting his time between the forward line and Dee's midfield, averaging close to seven score involvements and 20 touches over the year.

He twice booted bags of five and hit the scoreboard in all but two appearances in 2025.

"I'm just grateful to be honest. Grateful to be up here, grateful for the people around me at the club. I love it there," he said.
