The First Peoples Disability Network, in partnership with Jumbunna Research UTS, is launching a national survey – Our Way: Strengthening First Nations Disability Sector.

This national survey will listen to Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations, ACCHOs, and both First Nations and non-Indigenous NDIS and disability service providers across Australia to understand "what's needed to deliver culturally safe, community-led disability support".

The Network said: "We know there are so many incredible organisations already supporting mob with disability, their families, and communities; often with minimal funding, limited access to clear information, and navigating complex systems."

"By participating, you'll help identify the sector's priorities and needs, guide how FPDN can better support your work, and inform advocacy for critical reforms," the Network said.

The survey is also a key part of supporting sector strengthening under Priority Reform 2 of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.

The Survey will launch in the coming weeks and will be delivered online.

It is open to organisations nationwide; in urban, regional, remote, and very remote areas

"Let's work together to strengthen First Nations disability services and make sure community voices are heard," the First Peoples Disability Network.
