Brisbane mid Ally Anderson has earned back-to-back All Australian blazers with selection in the 2024 team of 21 at Monday's W Awards.

It's grand final-bound Lion's third time slotting into the side, after previous selections in 2019 and 2023, after averaging 27 touches across her club's premiership defence.

The Indigenous star averaged 13.9 contested possessions, 5.9 tackles, 5.5 clearances and four score involvements per match, and a competition-high 10.5 ground ball gets per game for the year.

Two years on from claiming the competition's highest individual honour, the 30-year-old finished with 8 votes - polling the full three for best on ground twice, including a record 43 disposal performance against Melbourne in round two.

2024's top gong went to Adelaide skipper and All Australian vice captain Ebony Marinoff with 23 votes.

Indigenous players Gemma Houghton, Mattea Breed, Danielle Ponter, Mia King, Georgie and Madison Prespakis all polled in multiple games.

Only missing votes on three occasions, Madison Prespakis - who took home the competition's best and fairest 2020 - finished in third place (18 votes).

After falling short in the preliminary final to the Lions at the weekend, Ponter couldn't join Anderson with back-to-back All Australia nods after selection in the extended squad earlier this month.

Houghton's week seven gather-and-snap from the pocket out of stoppage fell short to Adelaide's Hannah Munyard's checkside snap on the run for goal of the year, while Breed's Indigenous Round hanger had stiff competition for mark of the year in eventual-winner Matilda Scholz's big grab.

Brisbane face the undefeated North Melbourne in the AFLW Grand Final on Saturday night at Melbourne's IKON Park.
