Ash Gardner has been recognised for a standout campaign in international cricket's shortest format for a third time in 2023.
The Muruwari allrounder has been named in the ICC's Women's T20I Team of the Year this week, slotted into the ceremonial XI alongside teammates Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt and Beth Mooney after contributing to Australia's strong year with both bat and ball.
It's Gardner's third appearance in the side after getting the nod in 2018 and 2022.
She averaged 29.25 with the bat at a strike rate of 121.24, and took 17 wickets at 19.7 across 14 T20 internationals in 2023.
Within that came crucial knocks of 31 and 29 in the knockout stages, and a five-wicket haul earlier in the campaign at February's successful T20 World Cup in South Africa.
Gardner was named player of the tournament on rout to winning the trophy.
"Personal accolades are great but I am proud of this win," Gardner said after the final.
"Words cannot describe how proud I am of the group.
"This is something I am going to be proud of later in life."

It was Garnder's - and Australia's, sixth time winning the T20 World Cup.
The 26-year-old was among the most dependable of performer's in one of cricket's most successful outfits across all formats over the calendar year.
She took home an unprecedented three ICC player of the month awards in 2023, including back-to-back picks in June-July.
More individual honours are on the table after she was shortlisted for Women's ODI player of the year and Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy for women's player of the year overall - set to be announced before the end of the month.
Australia are preparing for their trilateral series with South Africa at home starting on Saturday.
The two sides will play three T20s and three ODIs before staging the first test between the two nations in women's cricket.
