Doubts have been cast over Western Bulldogs young gun Jamarra Ugle-Hagan's start to 2025 following the forward's irregular presence at pre-season training, per reports this week.
Ugle-Hagan has reportedly missed a number of sessions since the club returned to the track, including absences on Friday and Monday.
There are reports of fresh appreciations for the 22-year-old's personal circumstances.
It's said to be raising concerns around his availability for the Bulldogs' round one match with North Melbourne on March 15.
Last year, Ugle-Hagan took time away from the club to return home to south-western Victoria.
He responded with a career-best season, with 43 majors kicked across 22 games, leading the club's goalkicking for the first time, and included a three game stretch which produced four goals in each match early in the second half of the year.
The Bulldogs are expected to comment on Ugle-Hagan's circumstances in the coming days, per reports.
Doubts have also been raised over his potential inclusion in the Indigenous All Stars fixture in Perth, February 15.
The full squad for the All Stars team is flagged to be announced early next month.
