Josh Addo-Carr has found a home for the 2025 with the Eels confirming his signature on a two-year deal, ending months of speculation about the 29-year-old's playing future.

Following reports of the winger agreeing to terms with his new club late last week, Parramatta made the official announcement on Monday afternoon.

It comes after the Dogs sacked the NSW and Kangaroos winger earlier this month in the fallout of a September roadside drug test ahead of Canterbury's first finals appearance since 2016 - which eventually ended his time at the Belmore-based club.

Addo-Carr ruled himself out of their elimination final.

The Dragons initially circled as front-runners to land his signature.

Eels coach Jason Ryles said he was confident in the veteran reigniting his career at a fourth club.

"I've had the privilege of working with Josh before, and I know firsthand just how much he brings to a team—his speed is electric, and his ability to break open games is second to none," Ryles said.

"What's even more important is his commitment. Josh is a player who has always been determined to improve and challenge himself, and I'm confident he will make the most of this opportunity with our Club."

The deal "includes an option in the Club's favour for the 2026 season" in addition to 2025, Parramatta said on Monday.

A "grateful" Addo-Carr said he is "ready to repay the faith they've shown in me".

"Coming here is a chance for me to start a new chapter, prove myself and show what I can do for the Club and the fans. I can't wait to put on the Blue and Gold and become a part of this Club and the Eels community," he said.

In a post to the club's social media, Addo-Carr said he was keen to get "stuck in" to preseason training.

Addo-Carr joins big name signing Zac Lomax among additional incomers and the off-season departure of former captain Clint Gutherson.
