D'Arcy Short and the NT Strike remain undefeated in the Top End T20 after defeating the ACT on Monday.
After being sent in by ACT captain Scott Murn, Short - in typical fashion - got the Strike off to a fast start with the bat.
The Mitakoodi man put on 27 for the first wicket with Jake Weatherald (6 from 9) before adding an additional 29 with innings high scorer Connor Carroll (55 from 41).
In his innings Short struck three boundaries and a six to strike above 120, finishing with 29 from 24 deliveries.
Following the 35-year-old's departure at the hands of Jake Smith (1/15) Carroll anchored the Strike to see the home side post a competitive 7/145.
In response the ACT were bowled out by the Strike inside 19 overs for a miserly 105.
Short delivered three overs of economical leg spin to finish with figures of 1/20 (3).
On Sunday, despite missing out with the bat against the Hobart Hurricanes Academy, Short was handy with the ball, taking 3/20 in his side's 19th over victory.
In the Strike's opening match of the tournament two days previous, he top scored with 51 (34) while taking 1/20 against Nepal.
The NT Strike will next take to the field against Bangladesh A on Tuesday evening at Darwin's Marrara Cricket Ground No 2.
