On Tuesday, Meanjin (Brisbane) marked the countdown to the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 with a special event called "Two Days to Go."

As part of the celebration, a massive 20-meter FIFA Unity Jersey and the official mascot of the tournament, Tazuni, arrived by boat on the Brisbane River.

Following her arrival, Tazuni proceeded to Brisbane (Suncorp) Stadium, where a warm welcome awaited her.

The Turrbal Tribe, the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Meanjin, greeted her with a vibrant Corroboree performance.

The moment was captured by a squad of 360-degree drones, ensuring that people worldwide can witness the spectacle.

Meanjin is getting ready to host eight matches during the tournament, and these scenes will be shared with the rest of the world.

Five of those will come during the group stage - including Australia's second group stage match with Nigeria - while the play-off for third place will round off the arena's three knockout fixtures.

European champions England will take to the pitch against Haiti to kick off the stadium's tournament, before France and Brazil do battle in Group F on 29 July.

Nigeria will return to Meanjin to face Republic of Ireland on matchday three of Group B, and two-time winners Germany will take on Korea Republic in Group H.

On August 7, the winners of Group D will face the runners-up of Group B in the Round of 16.

Five days later, a quarter-final match will take place. Finally, on August 19, the two losing semi-finalists will compete for the bronze medal, bringing the events at Suncorp to a close.
