The trial of the man charged with the murder of Cassius Turvey, Jack Steven James Brearley, has again been adjourned.

Three months after the death of Boorloo (Perth) teenager, Brearley appeared in Supreme Court of Western Australia via video link from Casuarina Prison.

After a two-minute hearing his case was put on hold once again for ten weeks.

Brearley has been remanded in custody until his next scheduled court appearance on March 29.

Brearley allegedly beat Cassius Turvey with a metal pole while the 15 year-old was walking home from school with his friends in Midland.

Turvey died in hospital due to the head injuries after being put on life support.

His death sparked outrage in Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Australia and internationally.

The Turvey family believe the attack was racially motivated.

State prosecutor Benjamin Stanwix said the disclosure of material to the defence was ongoing.

Another two people have been identified as being with Brearley on the day he allegedly attacked Cassius and one of them has been charged.

Brearley is yet to make a plea.
