Gunditjmara premiership forward Dakota Davidson has re-committed to the Lions with a three-year extension keeping her at the club until at least the end of the 2027 AFLW season.
The Queensland product produced late heroics in last year's grand final slotting two final term goals to help lift Brisbane to a 7.2 (44) - 4.3 (27) win and second flag in the women's competition after overcoming a serious injury scare picked up in the preliminary final.
An "ecstatic" Davidson said "the world's our oyster" at the reigning premiers with a young list heading into the 2024 season.
"It's super exciting to see where we can go in the next few years," the 25-year-old said.
"I think the Lions bring out the best in me and hopefully I can bring out the best of the club as well.
"It was a no-brainer in the end. I love this club, and I love the place, I love all the people here and signing on for three more years was just a cherry on top of a beautiful cake."
An equal-competition high 23 goals, third best return for marks and top 20 for score involvements across the season Davidson earned a maiden All Australian selection in 2023.
"Dakota took a massive step forward last season and really stood up for us in crucial moments after taking on greater responsibility in our attack," Lions coach Craig Starcevich said.
"What impressed us most was her willingness to take on a bigger role as a leader both on and off the field. Dakota brings so much energy to our group but to see that have a positive effect on her teammates, particularly in big games, was very pleasing.
"She brings people to the game with her on field exploits and her charisma and that is something we are looking forward to seeing more of across the next four seasons."
Davidson said she is not making any plans to change the way she goes about things.
"I love the club and I see myself in an upward trajectory. I'm not going to change the way I play, and I'm not going to be a different person, and the club obviously likes how I play and I'm not going to change any of that," she said.
"I'm literally just going to keep doing what I'm doing and take the club with me and (I'm) excited for the next three years to come."
Brisbane start their premiership defence in a grand final replay with North Melbourne at Brighton Homes Arena on September 1.
