WA Police Homicide Squad is investigating the death of a woman on the streets of Kununurra on Saturday morning.
About 9:45am on Saturday police were called to a car park at the corner of Coolibah Drive and Ron Hodnett Drive in Kununurra in relation to an injured woman.
At the scene officers found a woman with a serious injury and provided emergency first aid. Tragically, the woman, aged in her 30s, died at the scene.
A police spokesperson said another woman is "assisting with the investigation".
Detectives from the Homicide Squad travelled to Kununurra on Sunday to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
Members of the community are asked to avoid the area, which is at the entrance to the local leisure centre.
