A group of asylum seekers have been left on Western Australia's northern coast and have walked to Beagle Bay.
The ABC reports that about 30 people, believed to be from Pakistan, came into town after being left on the beach.
Locals say the men were dropped off by Indonesian fishermen and made their way into the community.
The ABC reports that authorities are rushing to the town, 100km north of Broome, to investigate.
It has been reported the group were in good health and were provided water by a local store.
One local told the ABC the men were happy to sit in air-conditioning - it is around 40 degrees in the town.
