Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Suns teammate Mac Andrew have denied any misconduct after being filmed leaving an accessible toilet together at last week's State of Origin decider in Brisbane.

Video of the pair exiting the toilet in Maroons supporter gear has circulated online, and is said to have been captured at Suncorp Stadium on the night of the rugby league blockbuster.

"The Gold Coast Suns are aware of vision circulating online involving two of its players," a club spokesperson said in a statement reported by multiple outlets on Tuesday.

"Whilst there is no indication of any wrongdoing by either player in the vision, the club has spoken with both players who deny any insinuation of misconduct."

The pair have been teammates since Ugle-Hagan's move to Queensland from the Bulldogs during last year's trade period after missing the entire 2025 season for personal reasons.

As reported by the Herald Sun, Ugle-Hagan claimed he and Andrew used the accessible bathroom due to big queues at others, and that he thought any other "furore" around the matter was "laughable".

Ugle-Hagan did not travel with the Suns' VFL team to face Tasmania in Hobart at the weekend, reportedly due to soreness from previous weeks.

He's played the bulk of his footy in the VFL this year, making his AFL debut for Gold Coast in round seven against Hawthorn before two more appearances at the top level.

Andrew played in the Suns heavy loss to the Crows in Adelaide on Saturday night, where the club's current losing streak extended to seven straight games.

Ugle-Hagan signed with the Gold Coast on a one-year deal, with coach Damien Hardwick saying this month he was firm the Suns expect to keep him at the club beyond the current year.
