Australian international Hannah Darlington is set to return to the National Indigenous Cricket Championships after being selected in New South Wales' women's Indigenous squad for the upcoming tournament.
A current member of the New South Wales Breakers and Sydney Thunder who has also represented Australia four times at women's T20 and one-day international level, the 22-year-old returns to the Red Centre for the first time since 2019.
Joining Darlington in New South Wales' women's squad is fellow New South Wales Breakers and Sydney Thunder allrounder Anika Learoyd.
Having first represented New South Wales as a 14-year-old in 2017, Learoyd, a leg-spinning allrounder, returns in form with the bat after compiling 91 (116) for the Breakers against Western Australia in the Women's National Cricket League last month.
Darlington and Learoyd will feature in an experienced New South Wales side including the likes of Roxanne Van-Veen, Dharmini Chauhan and Aimee Ravot, with longtime captain Julie Muir leading the side.
The New South Wales women will be looking to return to the tournament's winners list after being defeated for the first time in an Imparja Cup or National Indigenous Cricket Championships final by Queensland last year.

In the men's division, New South Wales will be looking to secure an unprecedented fifth straight title after completing a four-peat after defeating Tasmania in last year's decider.
Notable selections for the men in blue include experienced left-handed batters Pat Rosser and Damien Duroux, Dubbo allrounder Ben Patterson and spinner Marty Jeffrey.
New South Wales' men's side will also have the services of Kobe Ross after the Sutherland Cricket Club product represented the Australian Indigenous side against Vanuatu last year.
Dunghutti man Brendan Smith has been selected to captain the side which will be lead off-field by longtime coach, Jeff Cook.
The 2024 National Indigenous Cricket Championships marks the second season that the two teams have been supported by the Cricket NSW Foundation.
