D'Arcy Short has guided Western Australia into another domestic 50-over final by rocketing back into form with a run-a-ball hundred against Tasmania on Wednesday.
Short had averaged 15.1 from his previous eight innings in the BBL at new franchise Adelaide Strikers following two half-centuries (54 and 66) across his opening three innings of the tournament.
On return to the Marsh Cup, he hit 44 against NSW on February 1 before setting up WA's 4-320 total at the top of the order in his most recent effort.
Short reached the boundary rope 16 times (15 fours, 1 six) on his way to a busy 127 runs from 121 balls at Hobart's Bellerive Oval.
Cameron Bancroft second-top scored with 64.
Tasmania were all out for 268 with 13.4 overs remaining in response.
Short went for 17 runs from his two overs with the ball.

The win sets up a One-Day final against New South Wales, keeping Western Australia's hopes of a three-peat in the domestic one-day format still alive.
WA scraped through to the decider over Victoria on net run rate to meet NSW on February 25 in Sydney.
For Queensland, Kamilaroi man Dylan McLachlan hit a solid 44 (77) in his debut List A fixture against South Australia in Adelaide.
The 25-year-old Australian Indigenous XI keeper-batter showed some fight amongst a modest display from the Bulls batting order, second-top scoring behind captain Marnus Labuschagne (74).
The Redbacks successfully chased the visitors' 218-run total with 35 balls remaining.
McLachlan came into the side just weeks after making his Queensland second-XI debut for injured regular keeper Jimmy Peirson in the dead-rubber.
Peirson is expected to return for Queensland's Sheffield Shield game v South Australia starting Friday.
