Juice and smoothie bar Boost Juice has partnered with Mudgee-based native foods company Indigiearth to offer a range of smoothies featuring native Australian fruits and botanicals.
Added to Boost Juice's menu for a six week period are strawberry gum, finger lime and davidson plum flavours, produced by Boost Juice using native ingredients provided by Indigiearth.
Indigiearth, a wholly Aboriginal owned and established business sources native Australian ingredients from Aboriginal communities who use traditional land management practices to offer authentic native food and beverage cooking ingredients and botanicals.
The collaboration, which sees Indigiearth supply native ingredients to Boost Juice has resulted in three Indigenous-inspired smoothie flavours of 'strawberry gum' - a beautiful and unique strawberry medley, 'finger lime' - a flavourful combination of creamy mango with a hint of citrus goodness and 'davidson plum' - a perfect fruity balance of sweet vs sour, added to the Boost Juice menu.

Indigiearth founding manager and director Sharon Winsor said the collaboration came about following Boost Juice's interest in using native food products supplied by Indigiearth.
"Boost reached out to Indigiearth and had the initial discussion with myself about the idea and concept," Ms Winsor said.
"One of Boost's staff, Zoe, also travelled to Mudgee to attend one of my dining experiences and to learn more about Indigiearth and myself."
Now supplying Boost Juice for the project, Indigiearth, which Ms Winsor founded in 1997 has been supplying native food products to a wide range of clients for decades.

I have been in business in the native food space for 27 years," Ms Winsor said.
"I sell these ingredients via online and to chefs and restaurants around the country. We also stock in many other retailers across the country."
Boost Juice x Indigiearth native smoothies will be available at participating Boost Juice stores for a limited time.
