After failing to put points on the board for NSW across the first two games of the series, Josh Addo-Carr has delivered with one of the great Origin tries as the Blues try to muster a win in 2023.
Cody Walker was denied an early try assist to payback selectors within three minutes, before David Fifita put first points on the board at the other end for Queendsland.
NSW pinned one back within two minutes before Addo-Carr produced a moment of magic.
After a handful of dangerous runs down the left wing, the Fox showed every piece of his devastating pace with a chip kick and bursting run through the Maroons defence starting from the Blues' own half.
Regathering at the line, Addo-Carr placed down the ball to give the dead-rubber third game a serious slice of meaning.

Despite Queensland wrapping up the series in Brisbane last month, things heated up quickly.
Debutant Bradman Best crossed over soon after Addo-Carr to extend the hosts margain.
Earlier this year the Daily Telegraph reported 21-year-old had "goosebumps" upon learning about his family history after the death of a family member.
Best's great grandmother Mary Anne Blacklock was a member of the Stolen Generations.
Field position seesawed far greater than momentum though the first half with both sides moving the ball with pace and threatening to break through the line to score every other set.
Minutes from the break Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow gave Queensland a boost of energy when he chased his own grubber to score in the corner.

It's Tabuai-Fidown fifth try in four Origin appearances, and became just the thirteenth man to cross over in each game of the series within a year.
NSW lead Queensland 18-10 at half time.
