Kysaiah Pickett is a "Demon for life" after signing a mammoth deal to remain at the club until the end of 2034, reportedly worth approximately $12 million dollars.
Pickett, 24, who was already locked in at the club until the end of 2027, has inked a seven year extension to his previous deal.
It makes Kozzy the longest-contracted player in the competition.
The deal is reportedly worth around $1.4 million per year.
Pickett had been heavily linked to a move away from the Dees as early as the end of the current season, with Fremantle regarded as the front runner for his signature.
"I'm really happy and proud to be continuing my career in the red and blue," he said on Thursday.
"I love my teammates and my coaches, and I can't wait to see what we can achieve together in the years to come. We have shared some special memories over the past few years here, and I'm excited for what we can achieve next.
"The club has shown so much care for me and my family, and I can't thank them enough for their support. I would also like to thank the Demon fans for all the love."
Dees list manager Tim Lamb believes Pickett's best footy is still ahead of him, he said on Thursday.
The 12th pick in the 2019 draft has kicked 182 goals from 116 games since his 2020 debut.
He played in Melbourne's drought-breaking 2021 premiership, and has arguably been the club's best performer across the start of the current season, having booted 21 majors while showing form in both the Demons' forward line and midfield.
Lamb said the club were rapt to have a "special talent" and "one of the most dynamic players in the game" commit long-term.
"He is an excitement machine, with his pressure, speed and goal kicking ability making him a critical part of the team and someone who our fans love," Lamb said.
"In addition to his natural talent, Kozzy is incredibly committed to getting the best out of himself. Week in, week out, he has been able to perform at a high level, and that's a testament to the work he puts in behind the scenes."
In a letter to members, Melbourne president Brad Green said Pickett extending was a "major moment".
"He is a player who lifts his teammates and brings voice to the Demon faithful, and now, we get to continue building our future with our No.36 right at the heart of it," Green wrote.
"This commitment is the result of strong relationships, a shared belief in where we are heading, and the incredible environment we have created across the entire club."
Pickett said he's living out his "childhood dream" playing at the Demons and running out onto the MCG.
"I'm so grateful to have Ardu and Belleny on this journey with me. Everything I do is for my family, and I just want to inspire my little brothers and my nephews too," Pickett said.
