Ash Gardner's Trent Rockets are one game away from lifting The Hundred trophy after sealing their spot in the weekend's final to cap a dominant campaign.
The Muruwari all-rounder top-scored for her side with 37 in their successful chase of second-placed Southern Braves' 117 with just two balls to spare at Trent Bridge overnight.
Teammate and England great Nat Sciver-Brunt stole the show with a blistering 32 from 19 balls batting a no.7 to steer the home side to a three wicket win.
Gardner, the Rockets captain, found the ropes six times through her innings before departing with the Rockets still requiring 55 runs with 36 balls remaining.
The skipper had helped steady their innings and stemmed the Braves' momentum through a 53-partnership with Bess Heath after single figure contributions from the Rockets' top three.
It was the Rockets' seventh win from eight group games, having all but booked the maiden final appearance at Lord's on Sunday (local time) with a 90-plus run loss the only possibility of placing another hurdle in front of them.
The Nottingham-based side will put their feet up as their opposition are confirmed.
They'll face the winner of Friday's eliminator match, with the Brave to face the victor of tomorrow's game between third and fourth-placed Manchester Super Giants and Sunrisers Leeds.
Competition leading run scorer Phoebe Litchfield combines with Annabel Sutherland and Jess Jonassen as Gardner's Australian side teammates in the Sunrisers' squad.
Meg Lanning is averaging 26.6 for the Super Giants.
On Monday night, the Brave were without Sophie Molineux with illness and India star Jemimah Rodrigues had departed early with a hamstring injury ending her campaign.
"I feel we have played some really consistent cricket through the tournament to put us in position to win the title," Grander said after the win, via AAP.
"Going into the final is pretty pleasing.
"We have a lot of experience. Different people stood up at different times so we are not relying on the same people all the time."

Gardner had missed out with the bat over a number of games before responding with her top score overnight.
With the ball, 4/16 in a 31-run win over the Super Giants in Manchester on July 31 sits out in front as her best showing across the group stage.
A five wicket loss to London Spirit has been their sole loss for the season.
In February, Gardner's Gujarat Giants, where she also captains, fell short of a first appearance in a Indian Women's Premier League final, bowing out in the eliminator.
Elsewhere, Australia's men's Test team begin a unique Australian-winter series hosting Bangladesh for the first of two Tests in Darwin from Thursday.
Scott Boland is in Australia's 14-player squad, with the XI to play not yet confirmed.
Australia is expected to field a firing pace bridge for the match, with Josh Hazelwood, Mitchell Starc and skipper Pat Cummins all in the squad.
