NAB Disaster Relief Grants of $1000 are available for eligible customers living in government declared impacted areas.
Communities in parts of Queensland and the Northern Territory are currently dealing with floods, flood damage, evacuations and road closures due to heavy rains.
Customers who can apply independently, should apply for a Disaster Relief Grant by completing the online form.
Customers must meet the following eligibility criteria: must have suffered significant damage to their home or business (including major damage to the interior and/or structural damage) making the home unsafe to reside in or the business unsafe to operate; the home must be the customer's primary residence (does not include investment properties or holiday homes); the home can be owned or rented by the customer; ust be a current and active NAB customer with regular account activity.
One grant can be paid per household or business.
NAB also offers other assistance for First Nations customers including dealing with banking, lost or stolen cards, and other issues.
