The stars were out to shine in their best ensembles at Warrang's (Sydney) Hordern Pavilion Wednesday night for the AACTA Awards 2022.

Leading the winners circle for First Nations people was Bunya/ABC production Mystery Road: Origin who racked up 15 AACTA nominations and winning seven.

Another one of the big winners was Leah Purcell who won Best Lead Actress for The Drover's Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson.

Purcell also led the way on the red carpet in a glamourous Paul McCann gown fit for a queen. Presenter Narelda Jacobs followed suit, in a suit by Paul McCann.
