NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an Indigenous teenage boy missing from Western Sydney.
Tyreek Whitton, 13, was last seen in Parramatta on Thursday, 27 August.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were notified on Tuesday and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Tyreek's welfare due to his age.
Tyreek is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 160cm-170cm tall, of a thin build, with brown hair.
He is known to frequent the Woy Woy area.
Members of the public with information about Tyreek's whereabouts are urged to contact Wyong Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website.
