NSW Police seek public assistance to find missing Indigenous teen in Sydney

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public in locating Mariah Keegan, a 15-year-old Indigenous girl missing from Sydney's inner west.

Mariah was last seen leaving a residence in Leichhardt around 2pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Concerns for her welfare have prompted inquiries by officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command after she failed to return and could not be reached.

Described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, Mariah stands at approximately 160cm tall, with a slim build, long brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Marrickville, Lilyfield, and Canada Bay areas.

Authorities urge anyone with information on Mariah's whereabouts to contact Leichhardt Police Station or Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
