Voting has begun for the MacDonnell Regional Council, Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election, in the Northern Territory.
Voting is available at the Council Offices in Haasts Bluff, Kintore, Mt Liebig and Papunya today, Thursday 8 June, 8am - 5pm, Friday 9 June, 8am - 3pm, and Tuesday 13 June to Thursday 15 June, 8am - 5pm.
Voting is also available at the NT Electoral Commission Darwin office from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 June at 8am to 4:30pm.
Postal vote applications remain open for electors that are unable to vote at an in-person location.
International applications for postal voting close on Monday 12 June at 6pm, and local applications close Wednesday 14 June at 6pm.
NT Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan urged electors to make sure their vote counts in the Luritja Pintubi Ward by-election.
"Voting will be available in Luritja Pintubi Ward communities from Thursday 8 June to ensure all Luritja Pintubi Ward electors have a say on who represents their ward within the MacDonnell Regional Council," he said on Thursday morning.
