Authorities are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a 14-year-old Aboriginal girl who has been missing from Sandgate since December 20, 2023.

The young girl, whose image is provided, was last spotted at a property on Fourth Avenue around 2pm, however has not been seen or heard from since.

Given her age, both the police and her family are deeply concerned about her wellbeing.

Described as Aboriginal, approximately 165cm tall with a slender physique, black hair and brown eyes, the girl's current location remains unknown.

Law enforcement suspects she may be in the Kingston area.

The police are urging the girl herself or anyone who possesses information regarding her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
