Bobby Hill has given Collingwood the perfect start to his side's qualifying final blockbuster v Melbourne on Thursday night.
In just his third final, and first in black and white, the 23-year-old opened the scoring with quick goals in succession as the Pies controlled possession and forward half position to mount pressure on the Dees.
After a contested effort for the game's first for a mark inside 50, a high tackle gifted Hill the first shot at goal from 30.
He squeezed the kick in from dead in front and backed it up by pouncing on a loose ball 15 out within a couple of kicks from the following bounce.

It was a flashback to a similar effort to his fast start in round 10's blockbuster against Carlton.
Hill has been on of Collingwood's most exciting players in 2023, kicking 25 goals from 21 games across the home-and-away season.
He crossed to the Magpies from GWS after 41 games and a bout with testicular cancer.
