It's game on for challenger Alex Winwood and WBA minimumweight world champion Thammanoon Niyomtrong with both fighters making weight on Friday, 24 hours out from touching gloves.
On Friday, Winwood clocked in at 47.3 kg with the Thai champion - also known by the ring name Knockout CP Freshmart, slightly heavier at 47.6, 400 grams under the minimumweight cap of 48kg.
Winwood, the former Olympian and 2024 NAIDOC Sportsperson of the Year who stands at 158cm/5'2'', holds a slight height advantage over his opponent, who in turn boasts a 24-0 record and 11 successful title defences since winning the belt in 2016.
Winwood has the chance to set an Australian record should he claim the world title in just his fifth professional fight at Perth's HBF Stadium in Saturday's main event.

"Most people have to fight a whole career to get their name in the history of books, and Saturday night, I'm going to write mine there too," the 27-year-old said at Thursday's press conference.
On the eve of his opportunity, the Noongar man applauded the home crowd support he's received.
"I feel absolutely thrilled, rapt to finally get here…everything's buzzing," he said.

"Im glad there's a crowd here. You are really making this. I've brought it here and you have come out to support.
"This man has brought the belt, and hopefully I'm going to take it off him tomorrow."
In response, the champion said he'll be taking the belt back home.
