Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.
John Trindall, aged 16, was last seen on the Great Western Highway near Walkers Crescent at Emu Plains about 4.30pm on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified the same day and have since commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for John's welfare due to his age.
John is described as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 170cm to 180cm tall, of medium build, with brown mullet-style hair, brown eyes and tattoos on both forearms.
He is known to frequent the Eastlakes, La Perouse and Glebe areas.
