Carnarvon is set to host the ABC Foundation's inaugural Community Wellness Fair to celebrate World Mental Health Day next Wednesday.
The event aims to bring the community together while promoting mental health awareness, a critical issue affecting people from all walks of life.
With the picturesque Carnarvon Fascine as its setting, the fair will feature activities designed to support overall wellbeing.
The Community Wellness Fair is open to all members of Carnarvon's diverse population including young people, seniors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and culturally diverse groups.
Offerings include wellness workshops led by mental health professionals, focusing on important topics like stress management, mindfulness, and coping strategies. Attendees will gain valuable insights and practical tools to better navigate mental health challenges.

Local organisations such as Helping Minds and the Aboriginal Medical Services will also provide resources and support throughout the day.
Children will have their own space in the Kids' Zone, where creative activities will encourage the exploration of emotive expresison.
