YOUR IMPACT
As an Employment Consultant, you will support people living with persistent pain and other barriers to employment to build confidence, develop employability skills and secure sustainable employment outcomes.
You will work closely with participants, employers, health professionals and stakeholders to deliver person centred support and achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
In this role you will:
• Deliver tailored employment support that meets the unique needs of each participant
• Conduct assessments, develop action plans and monitor progress towards employment goals
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employers, community organisations and key stakeholders
• Support participants to overcome barriers and develop confidence in their ability to work
• Provide coaching, mentoring and motivation to assist participants to achieve their goals
• Deliver culturally safe and respectful services to people from diverse backgrounds
• Maintain accurate records, case notes and reporting in line with contractual requirements
• Contribute to team performance and achievement of service outcomes
WHAT YOU BRING
• Experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, recruitment, disability services, health services, community services or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of participants
• Ability to build trusted relationships with participants, employers and stakeholders
• Coaching and motivational skills with a solutions-focused mindset
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Capacity to manage caseloads and achieve performance outcomes
• Adaptability, resilience and a collaborative approach
• Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
• National Police Check and Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain)
