Victoria has comprehensively beaten the Northern Territory whilst Queensland and Western Australia were also on the winner's list in men's round 4 action at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships.
Victoria (4-252) defeated Northern Territory (8-109) by 143 runs
Jhiah Baxter posted the first century of the National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Victoria's demolition of the Northern Territory.
Baxter scored 125 of Victoria's mammoth 4-252 combining with fellow opener Bailey Toseland (51 from 47) in a 183-run opening wicket stand.
The right handed opener carved the Northern Territory's attack to all parts of Jim McConville Oval, striking seven boundaries and 11 huge sixes from just 54 balls.
Following Baxter's departure in the 16th over, Victoria's middle order of Wade King (15 from 6), Nathan Gardiner (17 from 7) and Tyler Nanson (19 from 7) added late-innings runs to see Victoria surpass 250.
The Northern Territory's bowling analysis made for bleak reading, with captain Cameron Robertson (2-39), the only multiple wicket taker.
The Northern Territory were never in the chase in response to Victoria's huge total, mustering 8-109 from their 20 overs.
Veteran allrounder Bernie Lamont (30* from 31) was the only shining light for the Territory with the bat.
Medium pace bowler Wade King (3-13 from four) was again Victoria's best with the ball, with Bodie Jones (2-27 from four) also picking up multiple wickets.
Queensland (2-116) defeated Tasmania (8-114) by 8 wickets
Queensland lost only two wickets in their successful chase of Tasmania's 8-114 at Traeger Park, with Cruz Baker top scoring with undefeated 51 (51).
After Tasmania made early inroads leaving Queensland 2-37, Baker was joined by captain Dylan McLachlan (35* from 33) to see Queensland home in the final over of the chase.
Off-spinner Brandon King (1-23) was the sole wicket taker for Tasmania, with Lindisfarne's Lachlan Nicholls (0-11) also delivering three tight overs.
Earlier in the match opener Brayden Devries (37* from 50) top scored for Tasmania, with contributions also coming from the bat of Brandon Kopper (20 from 13) and Ben Spinks (17 from 23).
Five Queensland bowlers shared the Tasmanian wickets, with veteran player-coach Worrin Williams (2-14 from four) the only multiple wicket taker.
Western Australia (1-175) defeated South Australia (7-113) by 62 runs
After being sent in to bat at Traeger Park, Western Australia's top order fired against South Australia on the back of a tournament-best from captain Bevan Bennell.
Opening the batting, Bennell struck five boundaries and six sixes on his way to 81* (63), partnering number three High Sando (66* from 40), in a 132-run first wicket stand.
South Australia's bowlers were expensive, with Terrell Sgroi (1-32) the only Boomerangs' wicket taker.
Western Australia's momentum carried over to the second innings of the match, with South Australian opener Brodie Cameron (0 from 1) and captain Tyell Sinclair (5 from 10), dismissed inside three overs.
South Australia then studied through opener Andrew Miller (33 from 27) and Jack Coppins (27 from 45), however five single-figure scores through the Boomerangs' middle order saw them fall well short of the target score.
Craig Jones (2-9) and Max Ireland (2-12) did the damage with the ball for Western Australia, who were eventual victors by 62 runs.
