An unbeaten half-century from Emma Manix-Geeves has lead Victoria to a final over thriller in Round 3 action at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships.

The seven wicket win saw Victoria overcome hosts Queensland at Mackay's Cameron Oval on Thursday.

Victoria required 13 from the final over and 10 from the final three balls of the match before Jaide Anthony struck consecutive boundaries form the bowling of Christina Coulson, securing victory for her side with a ball to spare.

The victory was set up by Manix-Geeves' 75* (48), and 40 (41) from opener Melinda Hale.

The Tasmanian Tigers and Sydney Sixers wicketkeeper-batter struck 10 boundaries in her unbeaten knock while partnering with Hale in a 88-run second wicket stand.

Openers Hale and Ella Hayward (21 from 23) set up the chase with a 39-run opening partnership.

In the match's first innings former Australian Indigenous XI representative Dharmini Chauhan (45 from 31) set up Queensland's competitive score of 6-163.

The Wiradjurui woman struck seven boundaries, including two 6s, to anchor Queensland's middle order.

Victoria had a far easier victory over South Australia in their second outing on Thursday.

The Vic's posted 1-175 largely due to Ella Hayward's unbeaten 71 (59), the Jawoyn woman combining with Hale in a 99-run opening wicket stand.

Following Hale's departure Manix-Geeves accelerated the run-rate towards the back end of the innings, striking seven boundaries in her unbeaten 48 (33).

In response South Australia managed 7-85 from 15.5 overs, with Brenda Tau (22* from 19) the pick of SA's batters.

Earlier on Thursday Western Australia were no match for South Australia, the tournament's reigning champions victors by 96 runs.

WA posted a healthy 6-156, with Kaurna Meyunna woman Charlotte Toohey top scoring with 54 (36).

Emily Bowden (31 from 24) and Regina Deleeuw (22 from 22) were again in the runs, setting WA's innings up with a 50-run opening stand.

Maddy Willoughby and Rita Tomkins each took two wickets for South Australia.

In response South Australia faltered with the bat to slump to 3-15 early in the chase.

Three Western Australian bowlers took multiple wickets, with Verionica Keen the pick of the attack, the Badimia woman taking 3-3 (4).

Kimberlee Kite (10 from 10) was the sole South Australian batter to reach double figures.

The final group match will see New South Wales face Western Australia on Saturday morning before finals on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
