Two young Indigenous men are missing in the Newcastle and Hunter regions, with police and families holding concerns for their welfare.

NSW Police are searching for 15-year-old Bayah Lombardi, who was last seen in Hamilton South about 6pm on Monday 23 February 2026.

Officers from Newcastle City Police District were notified on Thursday 5 March after he could not be located or contacted, prompting an investigation into his whereabouts.

Concerns have been raised due to his young age.

Bayah is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm to 175cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Hamilton South and Carrington areas.

NSW Police are also appealing for assistance to locate 21-year-old Jamaine Morris-Moran, who was last seen on City Road at Adamstown Heights about 6.30pm on Monday 16 March 2026.

Officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified and began inquiries following his disappearance.

Jamaine is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm to 175cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and black eyes.

He is believed to frequent the Adamstown Heights, Woodberry and Beresfield areas.
