Wicket-keeper Dylan McLachlan is set to make his List A debut for Queensland on Wednesday after being selected for the Bulls ahead of their Marsh One-Day Cup clash with South Australia.
The 25-year-old's selection comes after making his Toyota 2nd XI debut last month in Queensland's victory over Western Australia in Perth.
Batting at number 8, the right-hander compiled scores of 34* (69) and 12 (17) whilst also effecting a stumping in the match Queensland won by 22 runs.
Hailing from Brisbane's Valley District Cricket Club, McLachlan will take the gloves in the white-ball fixture in the absence of incumbent Bulls 'keeper Jimmy Pearson, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.
It won't be McLachlan's first taste of professional white-ball cricket this season, with the Kamilaroi man involved in the Brisbane Heat's setup prior to the domestic T20 season where he played practice games for the Heat's Academy side prior to BBL|13.

He also toured Vanuatu with the Australian Indigenous team last year.
A regular starter in Queensland's Indigenous team in recent years, McLachlan has again been selected to represent the state at the 2024 National Indigenous Cricket Championships, which begins in Alice Springs next week.
A product of Marist College Ashgrove, the right-hand batter and wicket-keeper will be the first Indigenous player to represent Queensland since Worimi seamer Brendan Doggett (now part of the South Australia and Adelaide Strikers squads) and Kunja allrounder Mikayla Hinkley, who plays for the Queensland Fire and Brisbane Roar.
Joining McLachlan as inclusions in the Bulls squad are leg-spinner Mitch Swepson and Norths quick Connor Sully, who are set to play their first one-day games of the season.
Queensland will face South Australia at Adelaide's Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday from 11am AEDT.
