Former West Coast Eagles player David Wirrpanda is facing allegations he repeatedly breached a family violence restraining order.

Mr Wirrpanda is scheduled to face Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning, facing four counts of breaching the order.

The details of the allegations have not been made public.

Mr Wirrpanda was drafted by West Coast in 1995 and, at 16 years and 268 days old on debut, remains the youngest player to have played a senior game for the club.

After 227 games for the Eagles, Mr Wirrapanda retired in 2009 and focussed on charity work, having in 2005 established the Wirrpanda Foundation, now Waalitj Foundation, aimed at providing education, employment and business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Mr Wirrapanda received the 2009 award for Young West Australian of the Year and was named 2012 National NAIDOC Person of the Year.

He also operates a cleaning product business, Wirrpanda Supplies.
