Northern Territory footballer Waylon Davey-Motlop has been racially abused by a spectator while playing in Melbourne's Northern Football League.
A video of the incident circulated on social media at the weekend after Davey-Motlop's Heidelberg West side played Lalor at Lalor Reserve on Saturday.
Multiple racial slurs could clearly be heard in the footage as a skirmish unfolded between players on the field.
Davey-Motlop, 19, was playing for Heidelberg West in the Northern Football League's Division 3 competition.
Following the incident, Lalor Football Club promptly released a statement on social media condemning the actions of the spectator.
"The Lalor Football Club strongly condemns all forms of racism and racial vilification," the statement read.
"During yesterday's match, an individual non-member spectator directed racially offensive comments towards an opposition player.
"This behaviour is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the values, culture, or standards of our football club.
"As soon as the incident was brought to our attention, the individual was removed from the venue - we commend those involved for acting swiftly and appropriately."
The club also apologised to Davey, Heidelberg West and anyone impacted by the incident.
"Lalor Football Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all players, officials, volunteers, supporters, and members of the wider football community," the club said.
"Everyone deserves to participate in our game free from discrimination, abuse, and harassment."

"We extend our sincere apologies to the player affected, their club, and anyone else impacted by this incident.
"Racism has no place in football and no place in our club - we will continue to uphold the values of respect, inclusion, and sportsmanship both on and off the field."
Heidelberg West went on to record a strong win on the field, defeating Lalor 23.14 (152) to 11.7 (73).
Davey-Motlop has made an impressive start to his time at his new club, kicking 12 goals from his first four games.
Earlier this season, he also played for Anakie in the Geelong District Football League, where he kicked four goals from two senior games and seven goals in a reserves match.
The talented small forward has already built a solid football resume, which includes producing excellent footy for Talent League club Oakleigh Chargers and also for his junior club Palmerston in the Northern Territory Football League.
Davey-Motlop comes from one of the Northern Territory's most well-known football families.
He is the nephew of former Melbourne star Aaron Davey and ex-Essendon forward Alwyn Davey.
On his mother's side of the family, his uncles Shannon, Daniel and Steven Motlop all played AFL football.
He is also the cousin of former Essendon forwards Jayden Davey and Alwyn Davey Jr, as well as injured Carlton forward Jesse Motlop.
