Police are appealing for public help to find a woman missing from the New South Wales' north.

Yolinda Cavanagh-Smith, 20, last contacted her family in November 2025.

Police said she was reported missing to officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District about 11.30am on Wednesday 7 January 2026 after she could not be located or contacted.

Yolinda is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm to 160cm tall, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.

Police said she may be in the Sydney Greater Metropolitan area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police said reports should not be made through NSW Police social media pages.
