After an undefeated campaign Valley District Cricket Club were knocked out of the KFC T20 Max in the semi-final stage on Sunday.
The side, which featured Indigenous stars Mikayla Hinkley, Emma Manix-Geeves and Grade Abdy, went down to Wynnum-Manly by 53 runs at Ken Mackay Oval.
Opening in pursuit of West's 7/168, Manix-Geeves was Valley's standout with the bat.
The wicketkeeper-batter anchored her side's innings, striking four boundaries and a six on her way to 46 (45).
Manix-Geeves was the leading hand in recovering Valley from 3/22 before the Palawa women fell in the 15th over after being stumped from the bowling of Kaurareg allrounder Clodagh Ryall (1/16).
Following Manix-Geeves' departure, Valley were bundled out for 115.
Earlier in the innings Hinkley managed a run-a-ball 5, with Abdy chipping in with 14 (17) late in the chase.
Seamer Hayley Silver-Holmes (2/12) was Wynnum-Manly's best with the ball.
Earlier in the match Wynnum-Manly set up the victory after posting a healthy 7/168.
Former Australian international Elyse Villani top scored with 92 (55), with the hard-hitting Laura Harris smashing three boundaries and three sixes to post 35 (17).
Abdy went wicketless from her three overs to finish with figures of 0/20.
Bonnie Berry (3/31) was Valley's best with the ball.
Later on Sunday, Wynnum-Manly beat Western Suburbs to win the tournament's decider by 3 wickets.
Ryall was economical in the final, finishing with 0/17 from her four overs before contributing 6* (7) to see the Sea Eagles home with a ball to spare.
Hinkley finished fourth on the tournament's runs table with 228 at an average of 76, with Manix-Geeves sixth with 192 runs at 38.4.
Abdy topped the wickets table with 12 poles at 9.83, ending as the tournament's only bowler to average under 10.
Ryall finished just outside the competition's top 10 bowlers with seven wickets at 23.43.
