The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking applications to fill a permanent AO7 Principal Data Modeller position.
An AO7 Principal Data Modeller vacancy is available in the Data and Analytics Division of the Queensland Revenue Office. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD.
In this role you will have a strong focus on technical skills balanced with strong leadership, analytical, and client centric skills. You will use a proactive approach to seek innovative, best-practice solutions in developing complex ELT, data models, and analytical outputs

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Strong leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written).
-
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in large-scale projects related to one or more of the following areas: Enterprise data warehouse, data lake, Lakehouse, analytical application.

Understanding and working knowledge of SQL, agile process, data modelling, data engineering, ELT development with Databricks and SAP technologies.

Experience of technical delivery following Medallion Architecture and Layered Scalable Architecture (LSA++).

Experience with Azure Data Storage, Azure Synapse, Databricks, DevOps, SAP HANA (XSA and XSC), is desirable.
