Bring your community voice and expertise to strengthen podiatry education
We are seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples for appointment to the Podiatry Board of Australia’s (the Board) Accreditation Committee to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and voices are embedded in the work of the National Scheme.
The Board is seeking applications from community members who are not registered podiatrists or podiatric surgeons and who have relevant expertise in higher education and in accreditation within the National Scheme.
The Accreditation Committee assesses whether programs of study and education providers are meeting the accreditation standards and decides whether or not to accredit the program. It also monitors accredited programs to ensure they continue to meet the accreditation standards.
The National Scheme is committed to providing an environment that embraces and values equity, diversity and inclusion. We strongly encourage people of all abilities and backgrounds to apply, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, culturally diverse people, people with a disability, carers of a person with a disability, people living in rural or remote areas of Australia and people who identify as LGBTIQA+. If you need an adjustment or support during the recruitment process, we encourage you to advise us at the time of application.
