ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate Inclusion & Experience Specialist to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, playing a key role in creating a more inclusive, accessible and welcoming experience across Melbourne Park. As part of the People Experience team, you will support the delivery of inclusion initiatives, employee engagement programs and organisational commitments that strengthen belonging and embed inclusive practices across the precinct.
Working collaboratively with key partners and stakeholders, you'll bring Melbourne Park's inclusion commitments to life through practical initiatives, trusted advice and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to influence workplace culture, drive meaningful change and help shape an exceptional employee and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver people-focused initiatives within Melbourne Park's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) and Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP)
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to progress inclusion commitments, monitor delivery and remove barriers to success
- Develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities and events that foster connection, participation and belonging
- Support employee-led committees, working groups and forums that encourage diverse perspectives and meaningful participation
- Provide practical advice on diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility and psychosocial safety across organisational initiatives and workplace practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, external partners and specialist providers to support inclusion outcomes
- Monitor progress, analyse data and prepare reports that measure the impact of inclusion and engagement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve programs, processes and practices to strengthen inclusion and employee experience across Melbourne Park
ABOUT YOU
You truly care about creating inclusive workplaces and delivering meaningful employee experiences. You are a collaborative relationship builder who enjoys bringing people together, influencing positive change and turning ideas into practical outcomes. You are organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple initiatives while partnering with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
You have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives within a workplace environment
- Experience coordinating inclusion action plans such as RAPs, GEAPs, DIAPs or similar organisational commitments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence positive outcomes
- Experience delivering employee engagement, culture or broader People & Culture initiatives
- The ability to provide best practice advice on inclusion, accessibility, equity and employee experience
- Strong project coordination, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience collecting, analysing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for fostering inclusion, belonging and positive workplace culture
