Executive Division (EXD)
The Counter Fraud and Anti-Corruption Section (FCS) within the Executive Division (EXD) is seeking a motivated and adaptable team member with relevant experience and qualifications in fraud and corruption control and case management. As a Senior Fraud Officer, you will support specific work streams and provide advice and support to business owners and senior executives. The position offers a fast-paced environment with exposure to the breadth of the department’s operations. There may be opportunities to work across work streams within the section, as well as to lead projects and deliverables.
FCS is responsible for the department’s fraud and corruption control framework and related control activities, including:
• case management and oversight of external fraud and corruption matters
• developing and maintaining policy and guidance materials
• providing policy advice and support
• fraud and corruption risk assessment and control plans
• control effectiveness reviews
• training and awareness
• executive and legislative reporting
• the department’s Integrity Strategy.
Regulatory and Legal Policy Division (RLD)
The Sanctions Monitoring and Compliance Section (SMC) within the Australian Sanctions Office (ASO) is seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to fill Sanctions Compliance Officers vacancies in the team.
The Australian Sanctions Office (ASO) is the Australian Government’s sanctions regulator. In its regulatory capacity, the ASO:
• provides guidance to regulated entities, including government agencies, individuals, business and other organisations on Australian sanctions law;
• processes applications for, and issues, sanctions permits; and
• works in partnership with the regulated community and other government agencies to promote, monitor and support compliance with Australia’s sanctions legislation.
The ASO also supports the Department of Foreign Affairs in developing sanctions policy for Government. It is responsible for administering Australia’s sanctions frameworks, including imposing new sanctions and ensuring sanctions laws remain fit for purpose.

Australian Passport Office (APO)
The Passport Fraud and Integrity Section (PFS) is seeking a motivated and adaptable team member with experience in fraud investigations and intelligence, and a strong commitment to client service, to undertake the role of Fraud Officer.
PFS plays a critical role in protecting the integrity of Australian Passports and are responsible for detecting and investigating allegations of fraud related to Australian Travel Documents. PFS are responsible for protecting Australian Passport Office information and systems as well as contributing to a secure passport program. The section comprises six specialist units, including forensic examination, data analytics, investigations, intelligence, identity resolution, and fraud liaison.
